Co-founded by Beatrice Fassler and Nasheetah Engelbrecht and later joined by Sibella Weber - Belegra celebrates South African artistry with a team of over 18 years of experience. After a well-known brand closure in 2023, they took on the task to take over the entire team from the closing business and used the opportunity to not only preserve the craft by creating exquisite, handcrafted bags that blend international design with South African heritage but also creating a proudly South African brand that rivals international brands.
